Waiting people is not a big deal.
However have been waiting people for 20 years more is quite sad.
I still saw her every day in the Oak Grove station after 4pm, but I felt somber.
I stopped laughing and chatting with my friends when I passed her.
I told her that she will get your man someday with the voice which she couldn’t hear.
I didn’t want to bother her emotion,
the sorrow which had been stayed in her mind for a long time,
or the expectation which was broken every day.

Time goes by.
Seeing her became my habit, but her impression and story were getting blurred.
In a winter morning, I saw 2 police car pulled over near the Oak Grove station.
I went closer the blockade line curiously.
I saw the familiar deep-blue suitcase and the dress I had seen.
The old woman was covered by snow and died in the cold night.
I ran to the message board, and saw her writing,
“John, I have been waiting you for 30 years. I’ll leave.”

I enquired station maneger about her.
He said that she had been doing this for 20 years more.
She and her boyfriend had had a deal that they’d like to elope together.
On the day, the man was absent.
She had been insanity sine that day and had come here everyday to wait her man.

It’s a comedy and a little bit suspense TV series.
I like its funny content and the beginning of the episode.

Shawn’s father was a police and gave Shawn a lot of training when Shawn was a child.
In every beginning of all the episodes, The producer puts a period of Shawn’s childhood.
This shot relatives to the present crime that Shawn and Guster are going to detect clues.

For example, I saw the episode: There Might Be Blood in the thanksgiving weekend.
In the beginning, the child Shawn and Guster wanted to make money by oil.
They dug a big hole in Shawn’s backyard and broke a water pipe.
The scene turned to the present period.
A crime was happening on a oil well on the ocean.

In the beginning, I always start thinking what kind of crime will happen.
After seeing the crime, I image how Shawn fix this case.
I really like the steps are set of this show.

It was a cold afternoon.
Oreo, my cat, stayed in my room as usual.
While she was napping on my chair, a bird flied to the windowsill and started sining.

The sound was melodious, but it bothered Oreo.
She shouted to the bird with her bleary-eyes.
The bird didn’t hear and kept sining.

Oreo lost her drowsiness, and want to torture the bird.
She moved her lambs slowly and got ready to jump.
Boom~
As soon as she passed the table, she hit the closed window.
She sticked on it few seconds and slid down.
The bird fried away, and left a anger cat to mess the stuff on my table.
The afternoon got warmer.

In this class, The content of the film is not the most important.
The teacher issue a very interesting question:

Why did people make documentary like it?

Mark is a poor guy, a drunk, and a person who keeps profanities with his mouth.
His movie just a regular film. Actually, I won’t watch it no matter it’s free or not.

Why did people make this documentary to introduce Mark?

I give myself 3 reason:
1. This is a kind of experiment that the producer uses for practicing skills of movie make. He picks up a person randomly and makes a film like homework.

2.For a beginner, a documentary of nobody may get less criticism. Unlike documentary of a well-know person, the audience don’t try to find the mistakes of the story. This reason is similar to the first one. Get confidence and accumulate experiences.

3.There are some hidden meanings.

The last scene is so touch when Mark asks his uncle, “Are you ready for next movie.”
I don’t think I would do it again if I were Mark.~

In this section, I saw 3 films. Ryan, Thoth, and Henry Darger.

Henry Darger – The Realms of Unreal

These are my personal responses.
First film is amazing, I really like its animation.
I can’t stand with its music and almost run away the classroom.
I don’t like the drawing style and Henry Dager’s weird though.
However, the third film is the most interesting. I like the storytelling method.

The regular documentary storytelling is that talk a little bite story and inset people’s opinion and description. then go on this loop.
In The Realms of Unreal, the director uses the first place to pretant that Henry Dager takes about himself.
The director also set a girl voice to talk the story with drawing.
This is the basic documentary model + clever methods = successfull film.

In the beginning, I though is an imageless movie, 2025 without any fancy equipment.
however, I understand how Terry Gilliam set the story line cleverly.
The  main character Core appears in 2025 and the passed periods,
and many scenes are the same in these two place.

For example,
In 2025,
The animals, such as bear, rule the world.
Core is a prisoner, and is volunteered to catch some sample such as a spider on the surface of the earth.
Two guards watch his body after he come back underground word from the surface.
Some scientists evaluate if he suit this mission.
A machine that acts as breathing talks to him like a mentor.

In the passed periods,
Core is arrest because he looks like a spooky and the police can’t identify him.
Some doctors evaluated if he has mental problems.
Two guard watch his body before he go in to the mental institution.
He eats a spider in the room.
A bagger who claims himself that comes from Core’s ear talks to him as a mentor.
There is a bear spacemen in the place where Core see an alive bear.

I like this movie.
